About Jennifer

Jennifer’s professional passion has always been helping others achieve wellness. Her Pilates journey began following a career as a registered dietitian where she helped clients build individualized nutrition plans to meet their particular wellness goals. After the birth of her third child, she was searching for a  way to reenter the exercise world and found Pilates to be a super approachable way to strengthen and reengage her body. She loves the intention of each movement and the flow of the system. Jennifer quickly realized that Pilates helped her to become a better runner, mother, wife, teacher, and an overall stronger human being. She is now thrilled to be able to teach clients out of her studio in her home neighborhood of Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn.

In 2016 she completed a 600-hour classical, teacher training program at The Pilates Boutique NYC under Power Pilates trained instructors, Nicole Collet and Melissa Miles. While teaching at studios throughout  Brooklyn and Manhattan she has helped numerous clients achieve their own wellness goals – whether it is challenging an advanced Pilates client, helping a mom post-pregnancy, assisting a runner to train for a  marathon, or working with individuals post-surgery, she continues to witness the positive impact of the method on people’s everyday lives.

Jennifer has a BS in Applied Nutrition from Penn State University and an MS in Clinical Nutrition from  New York University. In addition to Pilates, her other passions include hiking, running, cooking, reading, and spending time with her family.

“Through the Pilates Method of Body Conditioning, this unique trinity of a balanced body, mind, and spirit can ever be attained. Self-confidence follows.”
